Did you know about secondary interactions?
Did you know that StreamAlive allows you to do secondary interactions as a follow-on from your original interaction? When your cursor moves to the top left of your screen a menu option will appear called “Create from responses” When you click on that you’ll be given options to create a follow-on from the interaction. For example, you could run a winning wheel from everyone who participated in the interaction. Participants are automatically added to the wheel. Did you know that this feature existed?
Do you start your virtual sessions on time or...
I’m curious, if your virtual session starts at 2pm do you start your live session at exactly 2pm and let people into your room only then, or do you start your session earlier and welcome people into the room and engage with them before the 2pm start time?

PowerPoint add-in isn't working during a live session on Teams
I’ve been using StreamAlive for a week and am still learning the ropes. However, the biggest issue is that we bought the tool for a training session with a large audience—around 200 users on Teams—using the PowerPoint add-in, and it isn't picking up anything. Even though people are commenting and the bot joins the Teams session normally, nothing else happens: it doesn't display questions in the chat, doesn't read comments, and doesn't save the questions asked during the session. Yet, this doesn't happen with small groups of 3 to 5 attendees. How can we fix this?
Winning Wheel with PDF Slides In Between
I am preparing a presentation that will use the wheel to randomly select participants who text a key word to introduce themselves. The activity will be repeated several times, with slides being shown in between. Is it better to duplicate the original wheel and use it each time, or set up a new one for each time with a different keyword each time?
Pay per event options?
We’re curious if you would be interested in paying for a block of events upfront instead of taking a monthly or annual plan. For example, if we said take 3 events to be run in the next 6 months. Or take 6 events to be run in the next 12 months. What do you think about this kind of plan?
What are the most important skills a facilitator or virtual trainer should have
Tech skills? Listening skills? Empathy? What comes top of the list for you?
Has anyone used Adobe Connect?
Just curious if any one here has used or been on a webinar where they used Adobe Connect. We’ve had a few customers ask us about it and we’re trying to figure out if it’s actually quite popular.
Breakout or not to breakout
What’s your opinion on breakout rooms in a virtual session? When should they be used and when should they not be used? How do you make them fun?
What's the most participants you've had in a Zoom call?
Curious what kind of numbers you’re all working with. One of our users is a professor from Harvard and she has over 500 people on her Zoom sessions and has great fun with Magic Maps and the spinner wheel with her audience.
One feature you wish Zoom (or Teams) would add?
What’s one feature that you wished Zoom or Teams would add to make your life easier? An auto-unmute button?!
How are you using AI in your live sessions?
Are you using AI to plan your sessions? Maybe you’re using AI to create your slides? What ways how you found to increase your productivity and effectiveness in your sessions using AI?
At what point in your live sessions do you address audience questions?
I know that some facilitators answer the questions as they come in to keep things organic, some build in a pause for questions throughout the session, and some keep questions strictly to the end. What’s your approach?
When the gremlins come out to play
What’s your advice when the gremlins come out to play and your bluetooth headset has decided to connect to your phone instead of your computer, or the wifi suddenly plays up, or your computer decides to freeze? How do you handle it?

Who's using the AI summary?
Curious if you are using the AI summary to make sense of the chat when there are a tonne of comments? Or did you even know it existed?! Click on the lightbulb icon when you have responses to your interaction. All the responses will be summarized by AI to give you a quick sense of the room It’s important to note that when the AI summary is open the interaction is paused, so do it after everyone has responded or tell people to wait if they have more thoughts to give for your question.
