Do you start your virtual sessions on time or...

I’m curious, if your virtual session starts at 2pm do you start your live session at exactly 2pm and let people into your room only then, or do you start your session earlier and welcome people into the room and engage with them before the 2pm start time?

    Great question! I like to think about it as a design choice - an unofficial start vs a simultaneous start - and which one I choose depends on session goal and audience. I like the unofficial start for groups who know each other, or groups who want a few mins to connect before starting. I like the simultaneous start for kick-off sessions, big reveals and events that helps to build anticipation. Either way the way I start is an intentional decision.
